^Lot 122 1941 dated Krieghoff Luger

1941 dated Krieghoff Luger, #11733, 9mm, 4'' barrel, salt blue finish with straw small parts, black checkered molded grips with smooth border, and two (2) blue extruded magazines with matching numbered aluminum bases, in one internally proofed Luftwaffe holster. Chamber area dated 1941, Krieghoff logo to central toggle link; frame, upper receiver and barrel with Luftwaffe inspection marks. Considered rare with just 225 being noted as mfg'd in 1941. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 97% original blue with wear at muzzle and high edges of sideplate, toning to front and backstrap. Grips show light general wear. Action is crisp, bore is fine. All visible matching numbers. Holster shows evidence of applied polish, with light impressions and tight stitching. Est.: $7,500-$10,000.
